ZONE: Turnkey Safety System for Production and Logistics
Get the advantage of the ZONE Modular Industrial Perimeter Safety Fencing System
Adaptable flexibility for business growth and safety upgrades
The modularity of the ZONE Safety Systems Industrial Safety Fencing system is what elevates it from the rest of the field. The Australian designed ‘T’ slot post brings together customer needs to conformation with the safety standards with the quickest and easiest of installation.
The substantial increase in onsite installation flexibility is one aspect that was key in the development of the ZONE system. Given the rising costs of labour, the ZONE system not only provides a quick method of installation it also allows for instant changes onsite:
- Uneven flooring? brackets to connect panels, doors and interlocks can be slide down the entire length of the post on all four faces, providing maximum adjustment options to the millimetre.
- Need to add in a door? simply swap out standard panel brackets for a door kit and the same panel can be used!
- Want to transition from full height guarding in a high risk area to low height guarding or railing in a walkway? The same posts ‘T’ slot posts and brackets can be used for both full and low height sections.
- Need to add additional sections of fencing quickly? Standard off-the-shelf stock is available for rapid deployment.
A Turnkey System: more than fencing
The ZONE Safety System isn’t just a fence it’s the skeleton that forms the structure of a complete turnkey safety system. Full installation, both mechanical and electrical, can be provided by our knowledgeable team, with experience of onsite installations that require adaptability and on-the-go problem solving ability.
Revolution in design: 'T' slot - a game changer
The revolutionary ‘T’ slot design of the ZONE post allows for the attachment of bracketry without the need for drilling and tapping, utilising instead a far easier to assemble bolt tightening system. Overall, this reduces installation time and therefore cost.
The ‘T’ slot enhances ZONE’s modular design enabling a wide variety of safety peripherals to be added to complete an overall requirement in a cohesive manner, including:
- Light curtains, sensors and electrical controls.
- Interlocks: mechanical, electrical or combination.
- Cable ducting and electrical wiring works.
Customisation minus the lead time: with in house production facilities
Custom requirements are also handled with ease: Complete manufacture capabilities ensure any specific requirements can be met.
- Custom sizes and cut out panel frames.
- Custom panel types: Steel clad, polycarbonate, dual material mesh/steel clad, polycarbonate/mesh, polycarbonate/steel clad.
- Powder coating to specific site colour codes and requests.
- Design and manufacture of brackets to suit specified interlocks and sensors.
Knowing the Safety Standards: an easy to follow guide
Sometimes safety standards can be difficult to navigate, but knowing them is key to ensuring a safe work environment for staff and visitors. Workplace accidents account for a lot of downtime affecting a business’ ability to achieve it’s productivity goals.
The below graphics shows a hazards location relative to the height of the protective structure, when reaching over the protective structure based on level of risk that the hazard poses (note: graphics do not apply to reaching under the guarding).
ZONE Safety Systems Industrial Safety Fencing has been designed by CellTec to be easily adapted to any hazardous area while adhering to the Safety Standards.

ZONE a Cut above the rest: benefits in design and function
Easy to Specify – Standardised dimensions allow for easy selection of components. In most applications the same panels can be used for fixed fence and doors, providing identical clearances, which allow changes to be made to the configuration during installation. Wall lengths are calculated by adding the panel widths plus 100mm per post. Accessories are added to standard panels to convert them to access doors.
Quick to Install – Posts and brackets are designed to come together without the need for any drilling or tapping. Simply slide brackets in the post profile then lock off in position. This method allows everything from interlock switches to sliding door tracks to be fitted easily. Panels can freely rotate on the panel brackets to allow angled configurations and flexibility during installation. The profile posts allow complete adjustment for uneven flooring.
Reconfigurable – As production requirements change, modifications and reconfiguration of the safety guarding is often required. The patented ‘T’ slot design of our posts makes this process quick and easy by enabling the interchange and reconfiguration of any panel, access point or attached component.
Reusable – The modular approach to guarding design allows the guarding to be reused and redeployed by enabling alterations to be easily managed. We can also supply you with a complete range of accessories, including electrical and trapped key interlocks, light curtains and grids, safety relays and controllers, safety mats, warning beacons and sirens.
